Reduce Mosquitos! Recycle Your Tires!
Tires, when improperly discarded or stored, can be significant sources for mosquito breeding. The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District (NSMAD) collects unused and discarded tires as part of our strategy to reduce mosquito breeding sources. Residents can contact NSMAD to arrange for their free tire pick-up service. Collected tires are transferred to an licensed tire recycler. Fill out NSMAD's Service Request Form (choose: tire collection in the drop-down menu) or call (847) 446-9434 to arrange for a tire pick-up.
