Parkway Leaf Collection Program
The Village’s annual fall curbside leaf collection program began Monday, October 23 and typically continues through the end of November. Because of late leaf fall, the program has been extended through Friday, December 8, weather permitting.
As of Wednesday, November 22, Village crews are working in area 3 on the 5th pass of the Village and will be starting in area 4 later in the afternoon and resuming in that area on Friday, November 24. View a leaf collection zone map here.
Stay tuned to this page and social media for details of our progress as Public Works crews make their way throughout the community.

If you are participating in the program, please remember the following:
- Pile leaves in a row along the parkway in front of your property. Leaf piles in the street are a traffic hazard and clog the storm sewers, which can cause flooding.
- A long, low row of leaves is better than a single large pile and helps limit the blowing of leaves into the street or back to the yard.
- Crews will work continuously through November, making four to five passes through each neighborhood. Place leaves at the curb by Monday, November 27 for the final collection pass.
- Residents who use a landscape contractor are urged to have the contractor remove leaves at the time their yard is serviced (this is often included).
As a reminder, the use of gasoline powered leaf blowers is permitted from September 15 to December 15. Commercial landscape maintenance contractors may operate 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday to Friday and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Work is prohibited on Sundays and holidays.
