Vehicle License Renewal Update
The Village recently learned that some residents did not receive accurate vehicle license renewals – in some cases, we learned that residents who qualify for the senior rate were not billed at the senior rate for all vehicles in their household, and in other cases, not all vehicles owned by the resident displayed in the online payment portal. We strive to provide a streamlined, accurate billing process for all residents, and we recognize that these errors have caused an inconvenience to some residents.
If you are a senior (age 65+), then all vehicles that are registered in your name qualify for the discounted senior rate. If you did not receive the discounted senior rate for all vehicles registered in your name, please call the Finance Department at (847) 835-4113 for assistance.
If all of your household’s vehicles did not appear on your online payment portal, you can register the vehicles not listed as new vehicles through the portal.
